Georgia Qualifies For Euro Finals For The First Time Ever After Shootout Victory Over Greece

Georgia overcame Greece on penalties 4-2 after a tense 0-0 draw at Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena to qualify for the UEFA European Championships for the first time in their history. The match against Greece was a rollercoaster of emotions in a dramatic penalty shootout that saw Nika Kvekveskiri remain composed & stepped up to take the crucial penalty following unsuccessful attempts by’ Giorgos Giakoumakis & Anastasios Bakasetas.
