Ghana Footballer, Raphael Dwamena Slumps, Dies During Match
Former Ghanaian professional footballer, Raphael Dwamena, has died at 28 after collapsing on the field during a match.
The striker suffered a heart attack during an Abissnet Superiore game for KF Egnatia against Partizani, as reported by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Dwamena had showcased remarkable form for Egnatia this season, netting 12 goals in as many games in both league and Europa Conference League qualifying matches.
In January, he became a member of the Albanian team after playing for Swiss club BSC Old Boys. His football journey has included playing for Levante, FC Zurich, Real Zaragoza, and other teams.
