Marcus Rashford Dismisses Ridiculous Rumors About Manchester United Future

Marcus Rashford has hit out at “ridiculous” reports speculating on his Manchester United future.

After being excluded from four of Ruben Amorim’s matchday squads throughout December, a time when he also expressed a desire for a new challenge. Rashford is thought to be on the market for a transfer in January.

Reports in England claimed Rashford had enlisted the help of a new agency to try to force through an exit from United, but the 27-year-old wasted little time in shooting down that rumor on social media.

“Been a lot of false stories written over [the] past few weeks, but guys, this is getting ridiculous,” he posted alongside a screenshot of the aforementioned story.

“Never met with any agency and don’t have any plans to.”

However, Rashford remains available should any interested party be willing to meet Manchester United’s asking price, which is reported to be around £40 million.

Selling Rashford this month would be advantageous for Manchester United, especially after Amorim acknowledged that the club needs to offload players to generate funds for new signings.

As one of the few options capable of yielding a substantial transfer fee, Rashford presents a viable opportunity for the club.
