‎Nuno Espirito Santo has urged unity at Nottingham Forest, emphasizing the importance of ‘creating harmony’ as he navigates through recent upheaval.

‎The 51-year-old manager also disclosed that his relationship with Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis had strained over the summer.

‎Sportxparte reports that tensions have grown between Nuno Espirito Santo and Edu, the new global head of football, due to Nuno’s apparent dislike of him.

‎The relationship is now described as frosty, casting doubt over their ability to work together smoothly.

‎After the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, Nuno told the press he hopes to move past the drama.

‎”Not only us three, but all the club has to come together,” Nuno said.

‎”First of all, let’s try to complete our squad this is really important in the final days of the transfer window. After these situations, what is important is the Forest, not the persons.

‎”We are going to have them (talks). We must, we must.

‎”What I think is we need to have these conversations, and we are going to have them. This is what I think is more important than anything. The players need it, the squad needs it, the club needs it, and we need it. And we are going to have it.

‎”Everybody wants the best for Forest me first. All the club wants is the best for Forest.

‎”This is the first time in my career that I am facing this situation and being asked these things. It is not helpful, but I believe conflict doesn’t work out. We have to create harmony.”

‎Marinakis has been accused by Crystal Palace of influencing UEFA to probe possible breaches of multi-club ownership rules after Forest lodged a complaint.

‎He did not attend the 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park, where a banner aimed at the Greek billionaire was displayed during the first half. Edu was in the stands as Nuno turned to four of his new signings from the bench in the second half.

‎After the match, the manager admitted he is still eager to add more players before the window shuts.
