Ronaldo Sells Valladolid Stake After LaLiga Relegation

‎Former Brazil striker Ronaldo has sold his majority ownership of Real Valladolid to a North American investment group, the Spanish club announced on Friday.

‎Valladolid’s relegation from La Liga was confirmed in April.

‎With one match remaining, away to Leganes on Saturday, they are bottom of the standings with 16 points after suffering 29 defeats.

‎Since Ronaldo, 48, became the majority owner of Valladolid in 2018, the club has experienced its third relegation.

‎Last year, Ronaldo sold his majority stake in Cruzeiro, the club where he launched his professional career.
