Ronaldo Sells Valladolid Stake After LaLiga Relegation
Former Brazil striker Ronaldo has sold his majority ownership of Real Valladolid to a North American investment group, the Spanish club announced on Friday.
Valladolid’s relegation from La Liga was confirmed in April.
With one match remaining, away to Leganes on Saturday, they are bottom of the standings with 16 points after suffering 29 defeats.
Since Ronaldo, 48, became the majority owner of Valladolid in 2018, the club has experienced its third relegation.
Last year, Ronaldo sold his majority stake in Cruzeiro, the club where he launched his professional career.
