Super Eagles Arrives In Rwanda Ahead Of Zimbabwe Clash

The Super Eagles have arrived in Rwanda to prepare for their highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Zimbabwe this Sunday.

The players and staff departed from the Victor Atta International Airport in Uyo on Friday evening and arrived in Kigali on Saturday morning after a three-hour and 30-minute flight. Once they arrived, competitors embarked on a two-hour journey to the mighty city of Butare, home of the event’s main stadium and battlefield.

Eager to get acclimated to the field, the Super Eagles plan to train at Huye Stadium later tonight to get a feel for the atmosphere and develop their game plan for Sunday’s showdown.
