Super Falcons Triumph As CAF Women’s National Team Of The Year

The Nigerian female football powerhouse, the Super Falcons, has clinched the esteemed title of the 2023 Confederation of African Football (CAF) National Team of the Year.

This accolade crowns their impressive performance at the earlier World Cup tournament, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with on the international stage.

Despite exiting the competition at the round of 16, facing a tough defeat against England in a penalty shootout, the Super Falcons showcased exceptional prowess throughout the tournament.

They maintained an unbeaten record in their three group stage matches, securing draws against Olympic champions Canada, co-hosts Australia, and holding the Republic of Ireland to a tie.
