‎Cesc Fabregas pledged his immediate managerial future to Como on Wednesday.

‎This came amid increasing speculation that he is the leading candidate to replace Simone Inzaghi at Inter Milan.

‎Fabregas, a former midfielder for Arsenal, Barcelona, and Chelsea, has gained interest from several top clubs after guiding promoted Como to a 10th-place finish in Serie A last season.

‎In addition to his coaching role, he is a shareholder in the club where he concluded his playing career. His success as a player and his involvement with Como has made him a prominent figure in the football world.

‎”I really believe in Como’s long-term project. I arrived here as a player, and I’m very, very happy because I can work here the way I want,” Fabregas said at the SXSW (South By Southwest) conference in London.

‎Italian media reports suggest that Inter is interested in speaking to Fabregas following Inzaghi’s departure by mutual consent on Tuesday.

‎The change comes just days after their 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, with the Club World Cup approaching in less than two weeks.
