Australian & Chelsea football star, Sam Kerr, found herself in a legal tangle recently, pleading not guilty to charges of racially aggravated harassment of a police officer during an incident in Twickenham on January 30.

Sportxparte understands_ that the court proceedings took place virtually, with Kerr denying the allegations against her.

The Metropolitan Police shed light on the incident, stating that it involved a police officer responding to a complaint regarding a taxi fare.

The trial, set to span four days, is scheduled for next February. This development has not gone unnoticed, with Football Australia expressing awareness of the situation & emphasizing its commitment to supporting players both on and’ off the field.
