Real Madrid Keeps Man City’s Erling Haaland On Radar For Potential 2024 Move
Erling Haaland‘s representative has sought to downplay any speculation regarding her presence in Madrid for transfer discussions with La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid.
The Norwegian standout, who scored 52 goals for Manchester City in their triumphant Treble season, is currently committed to the reigning Premier League champions with a contract extending until 2027.
While rumours circulate about a potential release clause in 2024, requiring a fee between €180 million and €200 million for a move outside England, Haaland’s agent, Rafael Pimenta, refutes immediate talks of a transfer to Spain.
Despite being spotted at Santiago Bernabeu during Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Braga, Pimenta clarified, “I’ve been here more times. Talk about Haaland with Florentino [Perez]? No, no, no, no.”
Recent reports also suggest Real Madrid’s renewed interest in Haaland following the apparent abandonment of their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, who is fixed to turn out to be a free agent at the close of the 2023-24 season.
