Signing Benzema Will Be Another Mistake As Ronaldo, Cavani – Parker Warns Man United

Signing Karim Benzema to Manchester United will be another avoidable mistake, says former Red Devils’ defender Paul Parker.

Parker, an English professional football manager, has warned Manchester United against acquiring French star, Karim Benzema, from Al-Ittihad.

The 59-year-old former player believes that such a move would be considered a mere “PR signing” and would resemble the mistake they made with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United has been associated with Benzema, whose future in Saudi Arabia remains uncertain, Sportxparte.

“Karim Benzema would be yet another step backwards. He would just be another PR signing, and Manchester United definitely doesn’t need that.

“It would just be making the same mistake as before when they brought in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

“It would be yet another step backwards,” Parker told SpilXperten.
