Arsenal Boss, Mikel Arteta Cautions Aaron Ramsdale Against Hasty Future Decisions

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has advised Aaron Ramsdale against hasty decisions regarding his future, emphasizing the goalkeeper’s crucial role despite reduced playing time this season.

England manager,  Gareth Southgate, had cautioned Ramsdale about potential exclusion from the Euro 2024 squad if he remains on the bench, with David Raya assuming the starting goalkeeper position.

Ramsdale, 25, has seen limited action with only seven starts this season. Arteta stressed the player’s significance in the team. Despite the challenge, Ramsdale has received a call-up for England’s upcoming qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia, seeking to build on his four senior caps.

Southgate revealed discussions with Ramsdale about his international future in the previous camp.
