Arsenal, Liverpool, And Man City Join Race To Sign Real Madrid’s Rodrygo

‎Rodrygo’s Real Madrid future has become one of the late-window storylines, with three Premier League giants keeping a close eye.

‎Across the summer, it’s been clear that the player would drive any potential exit. At the moment, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City are circling, ready to pounce if a door opens.

‎Around Madrid, they have been playing down the chances of a departure, but the whispers have been getting louder to suggest the right chain of events could yet trigger a scramble for his signature.

‎Liverpool could pivot to him if their pursuit of Alexander Isak falters, Arsenal views him as a final upgrade for their attack, and long-term City admirers might revisit a deal if they lose Jack Grealish and Savinho.

‎Arsenal have been the most consistently linked in recent weeks as they seek the final piece of their revamped squad.

‎Rodrygo has been a long-term target, with Eberechi Eze also among names on the shortlist. But Arsenal’s inability to shift either Leandro Trossard or Gabriel Martinelli is proving a major stumbling block.

‎Both players want to stay and fight for their place, and if they remain, sources inside the club suggest another big signing is unlikely.

‎Rodrygo has shown little motivation to depart Real Madrid so far, but in recent days a loan option has grown marginally more plausible according to some sources. That could give Arsenal a glimmer of hope.

‎In terms of affordability and risk, such a move would appear more feasible.

‎It is understood Liverpool have maintained contact with agents since the start of the window, and that any failure to get Isak out of Newcastle might force action.

‎Meanwhile, City’s stance could change if Savinho now pushes for a move.

‎Grealish understands the writing on the wall, but Tottenham reportedly made an approach for Brazilian winger, Savinho last week, and if that deal gathers momentum, Rodrygo could re-emerge in discussions at the Etihad.
