‎France international centre-back Clément Lenglet is set to leave FC Barcelona.

He is expected to join La Liga rivals Atlético Madrid on a permanent transfer. Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona and Lenglet have reached an agreement on his contract termination.

‎The 29-year-old already spent the season on loan with Diego Simeone’s Colchoneros. The 16-capped France international is set to put pen to paper over a contract set to expire in 2028 as all parties are in agreement.

‎Lenglet transferred to Barcelona from Sevilla FC in 2018 for €36 million, matching his release clause. The AS Nancy youth product made 160 appearances for the Catalan club.
