Done Deal: All Manchester United January Transfer Window Deals

Manchester United and other Premier League clubs experienced an unusually quiet deadline day, as the January transfer window has now closed.

Throughout the month, the focus at Old Trafford has been on player departures, with another one confirmed just hours before the 11 pm deadline on Thursday, Sportxparte reports.

United made the decision to sell promising young talent Isak Hansen-Aaroen to Werder Bremen. This move was motivated by concerns over his long-term future.

The 19-year-old playmaker had only six months remaining on his contract, and United wanted to ensure they received a reasonable fee for his transfer.

However, it’s not just Hansen-Aaroen who is preparing for a new challenge.

Senior players such as Donny van de Beek, Hannibal Mejbri, and Jadon Sancho, who have seen limited playing time, were also considered surplus to requirements this season. As the transfer window closed, their status remained unchanged.

United faced a challenging situation with incoming transfers due to their cautious approach towards Financial Fair Play (FFP).

Despite this, the recruitment team, led by Erik ten Hag, made significant investments in the summer transfer window.

A staggering £180 million was spent on acquiring talented players such as Andre Onana, Mason Mount, and Rasmus Hojlund. Now, let’s delve deeper into the players who have arrived and departed during the January transfer window.
