Angola’s forward, Gelson Dala, has issued a warning to the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of their AFCON quarter-final match today.

SportXparte reports that Angola faces Nigeria today at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.

With an impressive record of nine goals in four games, Angola possesses one of the most formidable attacks in AFCON 2023.

Dala, who has already netted four goals for the Palancas Negras in the competition, firmly believes that they have the ability to shock the highly regarded Super Eagles.

He believes that the Palancas Negras will pose a significant challenge to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

“We will fight and make life hard for them. With our fans, we believe we can win,” Dala was quoted by CAFonline.

The quarter-final match between Nigeria and Angola will kick off today at 6 pm Nigeria time.

Pedro Goncalves’ team aims to cause another major upset in the ongoing 2023 AFCON tournament in Cote d’Ivoire.

Dala currently plays for Al-Wakrah in the Qatar Stars League. The 27-year-old Angolan star can play as an attacking midfielder or a forward.
