Former West Ham man tipped to replace Jurgen Klopp by Liverpool legend
Jurgen Klopp’s possible replacement as Liverpool manager has been named.
Speculations have continued after Klopp announced he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
SportXparte reports that Klopp’s announcement has left the Reds in a puzzle over who will take on the affairs of things at Anfield. Pundits and football fans across the board have been echoing names but Liverpool would have to decide before the end of the season.
After nearly nine years, Klopp cited a lack of energy as his reason for leaving.
During his tenure, Klopp led Liverpool to remarkable success, including winning the Premier League and Champions League.
During an interview earlier, David James expressed his belief that Edin Terzic, the former assistant coach at West Ham, would be an excellent choice to replace Jurgen Klopp as the manager of Liverpool.
With speculation surrounding Klopp’s replacement intensifying, James has endorsed Terzic, who currently manages Borussia Dortmund.
“If I can, Dortmund and Edin Terzic the manager there. I mean, that could be an option.” He said on Sky Sports.
“He has done a fantastic job at Dortmund. Jurgen Klopp coming from Dortmund, there seems to be a nice bit of synergy there,”
Xabi Alonso, another name that has been frequently brought up, has been making remarkable strides at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
Additionally, his strong affiliation with the club adds to his prominence.
