Vienna, Austria, served as the epicenter for the 91st INTERPOL General Assembly from November 28 to December 1, 2023, uniting global stakeholders in the pursuit of enhanced international policing.

Monaco’s presence was marked by a delegation spearheaded by Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, accompanied by key figures in law enforcement.

Represented by Patrice Cellario, Monaco’s Minister of the Interior, and a team comprising Richard Marangoni, Police Commissioner and Head of INTERPOL Monaco National Central Bureau, Jean-François Mirigay, Head of the Criminal Investigation Division, and Olivier Jude, leading the Section for International Cooperation and Cybercrime Combating, the Principality highlighted its commitment to international law enforcement, rooted in its pioneering role in establishing the first international criminal police conference in 1914.

Amidst INTERPOL’s impending centenary in 2023, Monaco paid homage to the organization’s pivotal initiatives that have reshaped global law enforcement. The discussions and efforts at the assembly centred on fortifying the arsenal of tools essential for constructing a robust international police force.
