‎Paris Saint-Germain edged closer to yet another Ligue 1 trophy after a late strike sealed victory over Brest.

‎While Lille boosted its Champions League push with a crucial win in Monaco.

‎PSG Move Within Touching Distance of the Title

‎PSG’s 1-0 victory over Brest may not have produced fireworks. But it delivered exactly what Luis Enrique needed control, patience, and three decisive points.

‎With nine starters rotated after their Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich. PSG relied on their bench depth, and Desire Doué supplied the winning moment.

‎His crisp strike from the edge of the box in the 83rd minute secured the result and more or less wrapped up the league.

‎The champions-elect now sit six points clear of Lens with two matches remaining, armed with a 15-goal cushion in goal difference.

‎Avoiding defeat at Lens on Wednesday will mathematically confirm their fifth straight title and their 12th in 14 seasons. With a Champions League final against Arsenal coming up, PSG appear perfectly positioned to chase a historic double.

‎Lille Chase Champions League Return as Monaco Falter

‎Lille took full advantage of Monaco’s fragility, securing a 1-0 victory courtesy of a Denis Zakaria own goal. It was a disciplined, mature performance from LOSC, who have quietly built one of the most consistent defensive units in France.

‎The win lifted them into third place and kept the Champions League dream very much alive.

‎Monaco, meanwhile, saw their hopes crushed. A bright start faded into inconsistency. And despite moments of promise including Akliouche and Adingra testing Lille’s back line they lacked a cutting edge.

‎Even a VAR-reversed penalty scare did nothing to spark them. Their wait for Europe’s elite stage will now stretch into another season.

‎Marseille Keep Survival Pressure on Le Havre

‎Marseille needed a response after a difficult month, and they found one in a gritty 1-0 win over Le Havre. The hosts entered the match on a run of five consecutive draws, hoping to finally pull away from relegation danger. But their lack of an end product again haunted them.

‎The breakthrough arrived when VAR confirmed a handball by Lucas Gourna-Douath from Mason Greenwood’s free kick. Marseille’s top scorer converted the penalty, and despite Le Havre creating pockets of danger on the counterattack. Geronimo Rulli produced the key saves needed to preserve the points.

‎For Le Havre, the loss prolongs an 11-match winless streak and forces their survival fight into the final weekend. Marseille, on the other hand, stays alive in the hunt for European qualification.

‎Monaco’s Frustrations Echo in a Disjointed Performance

‎Elsewhere, Monaco continued their downward spiral. After VAR overturned an early penalty awarded to Lille, the home side never quite found rhythm or intensity.

‎Loose passing and missed opportunities defined their performance, and Zakaria’s own goal summed up their evening. Lille’s ability to manage pressure and transition calmly proved decisive once again.

‎Toulouse Ends Lyon’s Top-Three Push

‎Lyon’s late-season surge came to a halt in Toulouse, where Les Violets delivered a clinical 2-1 victory. Dayann Maouassa opened the scoring inside ten minutes after a superb through ball from Yann Gboho.

‎Lyon responded with sustained pressure Khalis Merah missed with a close-range header and Endrick forced his way into the box with a powerful run but failed to finish.

‎Toulouse nearly grabbed a second just before halftime when Santiago Hidalgo struck the post. Lyon regained momentum late in the game. But not enough to save their top-three aspirations, which now hang by a thread.
