Ivan Rakitic Officially Terminates Sevilla Contract, Signs For Saudi’s Al Shabab

Switzerland-born professional footballer, Ivan Rakitic, has officially terminated his contract with Sevilla.

SportXparte understands that the 35-year-old player is immediately joining the Saudi Pro League after agreeing to sign for Al Shabab.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Rakitic has completed his medical tests and all necessary arrangements for this move to the Saudi Arabia club has bee already completed.

As reported on this medium earlier, Al Shabab is said to have presented a proposal to Rakitić, a development he immediately agreed to.

Meanwhile, English Premier League side Crystal Palace is reportedly closing in on a deal to sign talented midfielder Adam Wharton from Blackburn.

Reports revealed that Wharton would undergo his medical tests today in London.

Romano revealed in a post on his X handle on Tuesday that the transfer fee for Wharton would  be in excess of £20 million.
