Raphinha has joined Serhou Guirassy as the top scorer in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League, each with 13 goals.

‎Raphinha’s late goal for Barcelona against Inter in the semi-final second leg was crucial.

‎This strike brought him level with Guirassy, who plays for Borussia Dortmund, as the tournament’s top scorer.

‎Raphinha scored eight goals during the league phase, highlighted by a hat-trick in Barcelona’s victory over Bayern Munich on Matchday 3.

‎His strong form carried into the knockout stages, where he netted three times across two legs in the 4-1 aggregate win against Benfica in the round of 16.

‎He also opened the scoring for Barcelona in a 4-0 first-leg victory over Dortmund in the quarter-finals.

‎Then came what looked like the final-clinching goal against Inter, before Inter’s stunning extra-time victory.

‎Raphinha is the top assist provider in this season’s tournament, with nine assists, including two in the thrilling 3-3 semi-final first-leg draw with Inter.

‎Overall, he has contributed to 22 goals in just 14 matches.

‎Meanwhile, Guirassy scored nine goals during the league phase and added his tenth in the first leg of the knockout stage with a 3-0 away win against Sporting CP.

‎Guirassy then hit a superb hat-trick in the 3-1 victory over Barcelona in the second leg of the quarter-finals but was unable to add to that tally as his side was eliminated 5-3 on aggregate.

‎Lautaro Martínez (nine) and Ousmane Dembélé (eight) are the highest scorers left in the competition who still have a chance to add to their tallies.
