Luis Enrique Sets To Extend Contract With Paris Saint-Germain
A report from Le Parisien states that Luis Enrique has already signed his contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain.
However, neither the club nor the manager has officially confirmed this yet.
The French outlet writes that neither the length of time nor the date when it will be announced has yet been leaked to them, but it is likely to be a two-year contract that could keep the Spanish manager in the capital until the end of the 2026/27 campaign.
Luis Enrique has been heavily rumored to be extending his contract for several months, as the former Spain and Barcelona head coach began the final year of his deal in the French capital at the start of the current season.
PSG is thought to have been pleased with the direction that the manager has taken the club and believes that he is well-placed to lead the new project that sees the team focus far more on developing younger talent than targeting ready-made stars.
Luis Enrique to be joined by Luís Campos?
Le Parisien also reports that PSG sporting director Luís Campos is contemplating a two-year extension.
It is believed that the two share a complementary relationship and a mutual long-term vision, despite not always seeing eye to eye on every issue.
