Galatasaray Open Talks With Napoli Over Victor Osimhen

Turkish side Galatasaray are now in talks to potentially land Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen this summer.

The Turkish transfer window is still active, and Osimhen has been excluded from the Napoli squad as the club aims to keep him sidelined, especially since the transfer window for the top five European leagues has closed.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that work is underway to bring Osimhen to Gala and the parties are working on a potential loan deal for the striker.

Mauro Icardi’s injury means that Gala wants another striker, and they see Osimhen as a target. They could also switch to a 3-5-2 shape to have both Icardi and Osimhen upfront, with the Turkish summer transfer window ending on the 13th of September, which is still 11 days away.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Napoli would likely have to share a large part of his €10m per season salary.

Saudi clubs are unlikely to pursue him since they already have sufficient strikers, and Al-Ahli has withdrawn from their pursuit.
