Victor Osimhen Agrees Personal Terms With Al Hilal Ahead Of Potential Napoli Exit
Victor Osimhen has agreed on personal terms with Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal, but the deal is not yet finalized as Napoli remains firm on their €75 million asking price.
According to Sky Sports Italy, the Nigerian striker has made significant progress toward a move to Saudi Arabia.
“The striker has, in fact, found an agreement with the Arab club regarding the salary he would receive. However, an agreement between the two clubs is still missing,” the outlet reported.
Al Hilal, which recently appointed Simone Inzaghi as the new head coach, has reportedly increased its bid to €70 million in a bid to close the deal.
Napoli has a reputation for being tough negotiators in the transfer market. Last summer, they stood firm despite pressure to sell their 26-year-old striker.
Antonio Conte’s team had initially valued the player at over €120 million. This summer, Napoli is unlikely to lower their asking price.
Meanwhile, Al-Hilal wants to secure the deal by June 10th so Osimhen can play in the FIFA Club World Cup, which could lead to swift negotiations.
