Edin Terzic is being considered as a candidate for the managerial position at West Ham United, should the club decide to part ways with their current coach in response to their ongoing form crisis.

West Ham have won just one of their last four league games. On Saturday, they suffered a 5-2 defeat in front of their fans against city rivals Arsenal. Sitting 14th in the table, the Hammers are only six points clear of a direct relegation place.

Recent reports from the English media suggest that Spanish coach, Julen Lopetegui is no longer in contention. The 58-year-old assumed the role of head coach during the summer, taking over from David Moyes.

Should he be sacked, Edin Terzic is one of the candidates to succeed him, according to Sky. In the previous season, the 42-year-old led Borussia Dortmund to the UEFA Champions League final. After that, he surprisingly parted ways.

Terzic previously served as an assistant coach at West Ham United from August 2015 to November 2017, working under Slaven Bilic during that period.
